Each seven-week Parent & Child class is designed for new parents and their young children from infants to 3 years of age to explore different themed worlds like Broadway, Under the Sea, Space, and Animals – all led by two YADA teachers guiding our darling duos through sing-a-longs while performing animated storylines and engaging the room through movement and sensory explorations skills like drums, bells, shakers, and scarves.
YADA MINIS is more than just a class—it's a journey where both Parent & Child can connect, learn, and grow together. We understand that children thrive when their parents do, and our program is designed to support both of you in a nurturing, joyful, and stimulating environment to meet other new parents, learn more about your child's development, and get out of the house and move.
YADA MINIS Program will have multiple themed classes, in addition to Broadway, to keep your community and development going in Space or Under the Sea!
Our Spring 7-week theme is:
MINIS ANIMALS: Broadway Gone Wild!
You and your child will embark on a seven week adventure in our Minis Animals: Broadway Gone Wild musical extravaganza! Each week, we’ll immerse ourselves in a different animal themed musical, blending storytelling, songs, instruments, and dance to create a multi-sensory experience that will captivate both you and your child. Through playful movements, singing, and interactive storytelling, you’ll bond with your child as you bring the story to life with imaginative props, rhythmic activities, and simple instruments, introducing your baby to the joy of music while fostering sensory exploration and connection.

Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect each week:
Week 1: THE LION KING
Embark on an adventure through the Pride Lands, where you'll experience the wild journey of Simba and his animal friends. Roar along to iconic songs like "Circle of Life" and "Hakuna Matata" as you discover the strength of family, courage, and the animal kingdom's circle of life.
Week 2: 101 DALMATIANS
Step into the lively world of London, where you'll follow the heartwarming tale of Pongo, Perdita, and their 101 dalmatian puppies. Bark along to the fun-filled adventure as they outsmart the villainous Cruella de Vil and discover the power of love and loyalty.
Week 3: CATS
Step into the feline world of the Jellicle Cats, where you'll meet a colorful cast of mystical and quirky cats, each with their own purr-sonality. Join them for the Jellicle Ball, a night of song and dance, as they share their stories and secrets, with unforgettable tunes like "Memory" filling the air.
Week 4: MADAGASCAR
Join Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo, and Melman the giraffe on a wild adventure from the zoo to the jungles of Madagascar! Sing, dance, and discover the true meaning of freedom with these unforgettable animals.
Week 5: THE JUNGLE BOOK
Venture into the jungle with Mowgli and his animal friends, like Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther. Sing along to classic songs as you explore the wild, learning lessons of friendship and bravery in the heart of the jungle.
Week 6: FINDING NEMO
Dive into the deep blue with Marlin the clownfish and his adventurous son, Nemo! Swim through the ocean with a colorful cast of sea creatures, from Dory the forgetful fish to Crush the laid-back turtle, as they journey through the vast ocean to reunite family and discover new friendships.
Week 7: BEST OF BROADWAY CELEBRATION
In the final week of YADA MINIS, it's time to celebrate! Repetition is an incredible tool during the learning process – we'll revisit class favorite songs from the previous weeks, giving you and your baby a chance to relive the magic of your animals journey in Minis Broadway Gone Wild. This "best of" week is a joyful review and celebration of all you've learned and experienced together.

Share experiences, exchange tips, and build lasting friendships in a supportive and welcoming environment. The last 15 minutes of each class is community time where you can have a coffee and chat with the other parents and your child’s teacher.
~ BRING JOY: Above all, YADA MINIS is about having fun! We want you and your baby to leave each class with a smile on your face, a song in your heart, and a sense of joy that lasts long after the class is over.

~There is a one-time $75 School Year Administration Fee that applies for WINTER, SPRING and FALL Sessions in 2025. Summer Camps will have a separate Administration Fee.
