Kita is a Musical Theatre actress from Los Angeles, CA. She studied theatre in Washington, DC at Howard University and worked in the DC theatre community for many years before moving home. While in school, Kita taught acting, dance, and musical theatre classes at some of DC’s most prestigious learning institutions. She most enjoys watching kids fall in love with dance. There’s a moment when ability and joy meet to build confidence. This confidence stays with you forever. Most recently, Kita was a swing and assistant dance captain in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in San Francisco. She continues to work in LA’s theatre community, performing, directing, and of course, dancing through life. Art is the most powerful tool we can use to expand the human experience.
