Welcome to YADA's Outside the Box (OTB) program where we take what we do inside the walls of the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts and bring it to your campus or facility.
No matter what program you chose or what your budget, YADA will help you kids find their voice and shine!

MUSICAL PRODUCTION PROGRAM:
Our directors guide your students through a professional rehearsal process, leading up to a dress rehearsal and culminating in a live performance. Productions can range from a basic show to a fully realized stage musical with sets, lights and costumes. Examples of these types of shows would be Annie JR, Seussical JR, Wonka JR, etc.
- This production process is typically ten weeks (8 weeks of three hour rehearsals + 1 three hour dress rehearsal + one or two shows depending on the school’s schedule) This is roughly 30 hours total. This can also be spread out over more weeks if your school's rehearsal periods are shorter. For example, a 16-week rehearsal period that is 2 hours each week.
REVUE PRODUCTION PROGRAM:
These revues are perfect for the school that wants to sing and dance, but may not be ready for a full scale musical. An example of one of our revues would be DISNEY ROCKS! We take 12-15 songs from popular Disney shows and musicals and create choreography that shows the performers in their best light. Other themes from our revues are: SING!, TROLLS, SUPER KIDS etc.
- This revue process is typically ten weeks ((8 weeks of three hour rehearsals + 1 three hour dress rehearsal + one or two shows depending on the school’s schedule) This is roughly 30 hours total. This can also be spread out over more weeks if your school's rehearsal periods are shorter. For example, a 16-week rehearsal period that is 2 hours each week. Costumes, lights, and microphones are not a necessity for these revues, but these elements can always be added.
YADA+ PROGRAM:
Children spend their time learning performance techniques in acting, singing, dancing, and auditions! Without the pressure of a performance, students will spend their time learning and practicing their theatre skills and having a blast with YADA’s teachers!
- This class is typically two hours once a week but can be adjusted to fit your needs
IMPROV PROGRAM:
"Yes, and!" Zany Awesomeness! Spend your Spring thinking on your feet and learning improv basics that will culminate in your very own improv show for family and friends. This Improv class is sure to be silly and definitely FUN! Your child will develop their emotional intelligence, creativity, confidence, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills—all in a fun, supportive environment of ensemble-based games that are the foundation of improvisational theater. This can be a non-performance or performance goal program.
- This class is typically two hours once a week but can be adjusted to fit your needs
TOTS PROGRAM:
YADA TOTS is perfect for kids ages 3-5. TOTS will have lots of fun playing imagination games and learning select songs from the session’s chosen show! There is no casting into specific parts, just lots of singing, dancing & play that ends with one performance! Sorry parents, but only TOTS are allowed in the rehearsals, so students should be old enough to be in a classroom without a parent and be fully potty trained. Come join the joy of YADA TOTS!
