“I owe so much to Kim, Lani, and the entire team at YADA for cultivating my love for the performing arts at such a ripe age. I’ll always remember learning “there are no small parts, only small actors.” You all taught me what the spirit of collaboration meant and how to tap into my imagination. I desperately miss swinging my hips at 9 years old playing Conrad Birdie, borrowing my father’s clothes to play Richie in A Chorus Line and deciding to change my arm cast color to green to fit in with our production of Wizard of Oz. YADA even took the bold risk of casting me as the Narrator in Into The Woods before I could even read properly, and made arrangements to have a stage hand whisper the lines from the background so I could play the part. The team at YADA are great at inspiring kids to be confident and silly and audacious.”
