Isabel graduated from Harvard in 2012 with a degree in English. After spending a year and a half writing in New York, she moved back to Los Angeles to work in drama development and programming at Fox Broadcasting Company. During her time at Fox, she worked on shows such as EMPIRE, SCREAM QUEENS, GOTHAM, and SLEEPY HOLLOW, in addition to projects in development.
Isabel’s first novel, the LA Times Bestselling HANCOCK PARK, was published by HarperCollins in 2009. She is currently getting an MFA in Fiction at NYU and working on her second novel. Isabel has also written for the HuffingtonPost, The Daily Beast, The Jewish Journal, and The Harvard Crimson, among other publications.
